Assigning a Driver for Delivery
Quantic POS allows you to take orders for delivery. This is applicable for
Delivery or To Go Service Areas. These different service area options allow you
to track revenues in different areas of your restaurant. Here the Delivery and
To Go orders will capture all the required information needed in order to
accurately deliver an order.
Restaurant
In this example, we have chosen the Delivery service area. Now the Delivery
Info form will open. Enter the Phone Number and other details in the form. If
the customer information is already saved, it will be automatically filled in.
Once you are done, click the Start Order button at the bottom.
Now you can simply select the order, add modifiers and start the delivery
process.
To proceed with delivery, click the left navigation button and tap on Delivery
Order. The Deliveries window opens up.
Select the order that you want to deliver. Select the Driver from the right
panel and click Assign.
Once you have a driver, it shows up under the Assigned Delivery section as
seen in the above screenshot. Here you can track each order delivery – what their orders are, how long a driver took to deliver the order, and also you can
change/remove the delivery at any point in time.
